i’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time paying attention to what happens when we stop trying to improve ourselves for five fucking minutes.

i’ve also studied and shared yoga for over twenty years.

and somewhere along the way, i began to understand

that most of what i was looking for wasn’t somewhere else.

it was here. underneath the explanations, performances and stories.

and that changed the way i teach yoga and direct experiences.

i’m interested in creating an experience where you can actually notice what is happening before the meaning rushes in.

making spaces for you to move your body where you don’t have to worry about fixing yourself or wondering if there’s anything wrong with you.

we disrupt the familiar.

for a moment, there’s space between what is happening and what we’ve decided it means.

that space interests me.

you do not need to spend your life fixing yourself.

i contain multitudes. so do you.

and if we stay long enough to see what is here, we may discover that what we’ve been searching for has been here the whole time.

that seems like a pretty good place to begin.

all who wander are not lost

all who wander are not lost

all who wander are not lost all who wander are not lost

stay in the conversation

i’ll never share your information or stalk you. i’ll just write sometimes, pinky swear.
